Technical assistance and capacity-building support needed at the operational, programmatic, and policy level. In addition, staff in government laboratories, require training on the use of new technologies and equipment.

Milling companies in Tajikistan are mostly unfamiliar with best practices surrounding the procurement and addition of premix to their flour, and internal quality control procedures for fortified flour and need technical and technological support on the practical implementation of the wheat flour fortification.
